David is an independent management
consultant with international experience. He has led
teams to develop strategies, solve business
problems, and lead change management projects for
large and small companies as well as government
agencies. Before returning to Vancouver, Canada in
2003, he was a project leader in the European
offices of one of the world’s leading management
consulting firms McKinsey & Company. At
McKinsey he led studies with leading Fortune 500
companies as well as startup firms. David was also a
leader in the firm's recruitment of candidates with
advanced degrees, and became well known for his
knowledge and expertise with technology related
businesses. David has had particularly extensive
experience in the healthcare, airline, insurance,
and pharmaceuticals
industries. Prior to McKinsey, David was on faculty at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. Specialized in the physics of superconductivity, David has published over 20 articles in academic journals and holds several patents. David has a B.Sc. Honours from the University of British Columbia and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University. David is fluent in German and lives with his family in Alberta's Foothills Region near Calgary. |
